Location: On-site in either Bronx, NY or Rockville Centre, NY. Choose the office location that best fits your commute while working with a collaborative and supportive legal team.

Note: Applicants must be admitted to the New York Bar, have 3+ years of New York Workers' Compensation experience, and be fluent in both Spanish and English.

Job Description

• Manage a Workers' Compensation caseload from initial intake through final resolution.
\n
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, conferences, and settlement negotiations.
\n
• Provide strategic legal guidance and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout their cases.
\n
• Review and evaluate new case opportunities during the intake process.
\n
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents.
\n
• Ensure compliance with New York Workers' Compensation Board rules, deadlines, and procedures.
\n
• Supervise and mentor paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.
\n
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop effective case strategies and maximize client outcomes.

Qualifications

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
\n
• Active New York Bar license in good standing.
\n
• 3+ years of New York Workers' Compensation attorney experience.
\n
• Experience handling hearings, depositions, conferences, and settlement negotiations.
\n
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and client relationship skills.
\n
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment.
\n
